Hüiten Peak (Mongolian: Хүйтэн оргил, lit. "cold peak") is the highest point in Mongolia, located in the far west of the country on the border with PRC. The Peak towers at the elevation of 4,374 m (14,350 feet, previously 4,356 m) under the permanent snow-cap. It is one of five peaks in the Tavan Bogd Mountain, which about 2.5 km further north marks the border tripoint-the Nairamdal Peak between Russia, Mongolia, and China. The first ascent of Khüiten Peak is alleged to have occurred in 1963.
